6 passed Jokokan's physical stop test

The day had come, when the summer's second stop test for higher-graded Jokokaners had to be completed. The place was the newly built Nautilus fitness center in Ballerup and the sun shone from a cloudless sky and formed a perfect setting for the participants. In Jokokan, we are always happy when there are members who are about to graduate because precisely a graduation means that there is dynamism and progression in the Jokokan schools, which supports the positive progress we have experienced in recent years.

The test
There was, as usual, a concentrated and focused, even almost expectant mood with all 6 test participants, and after a brief review of the content of the individual tests, the test started...

Jokokan Honbu-dojo graduations - stop tests.
Jokokan Honbu-dojo's graduations consist of three stop tests with increasing requirements, all of which must be passed when graduating from 3.kyu - 6.dan. Stop test means, in short, that the participant must pass stop test 1 in order to proceed to stop test 2, etc. The three stop tests are as follows:

  • Stop test 1: Graduation in the syllabus
  • Stop test 2: Physical test
  • Stop test 3: Kumite and selected pensa tests.

The Jokokan Honbu-Dojo and the federation board wish the participants a hearty congratulations on a successful physical test and look forward to all six participants passing the final stop test during the upcoming summer training camp for brown and black belts on 18-19. June.
