Explanation to readers:

KataFIT is a holistic health and health training on several levels, which uses the latest new research, so the training is as effective, injury-preventing and training, stress-reducing and quality-of-life-promoting, in the shortest possible time. KataFIT is trained without aids and can therefore be performed anywhere and at any time. KataFIT forms a bridge between eastern and western research, but according to the KISS principle, just like with the POMW project; Keep IT Simple & Safe. KataFIT has already produced spectacular results that have been noted internationally.

Practical – what is kataFIT? What can you directly compare with?. Most people are happy with the whole-body oriented "Plank exercise" and 1-2 minutes in it. All of the above grads easily take over 6+ minutes. Which is very good. But when you then add that the Plank is dynamic and requires coordination and movement, at the same time as you have constant whole-body cross muscle tension, then the KataFIT version is usually described as the more difficult dynamic plank form.

Okay, most people say it's very impressive, but there are many others who can also do it with training. Yes, that is absolutely correct. But before this "element", the KataFIT practitioner has already performed two other full-body "elements", such as the "element" before this "Element", where you stand in a normal technically correct plank and take slow arm stretches, each item approx. 11-12 seconds, all with correct and optimal breathing, as the body's energy processes cannot otherwise produce enough energy for you to complete the elements.

KataFIT – which is a kata – i.e. figure exercises that are performed non-stop, as a karate Kata must be performed - there is basically no difference. A KataFIT 5S, which is standard in all Shindenkan schools, lasts approx. 22.5 minutes. A KataFIT 12S last approx. 38.5 minutes.

Since KataFIT is both full-body strength training and cardio training, all KataFIT practitioners will achieve a significant improvement in both parts. Many of Shindenkan's TG4 graduates have a conservative fitness index measured according to traditional recognized tests of over 55+ to 65+, - although some have had their fitness index measured in the 70s. All without exception reached their maximum heart rate during the kataFIT 10S and 12S. The maximum heart rate is the absolute highest pulse value that your heart can achieve. If your maximum heart rate is 200, this means that your heart has the capacity to beat 200 times a minute when it is under maximum pressure.

All participants did not reach their maximum heart rate during the more traditional stop test 2; Fitness stat measurement, which in this case was Cooper's running test.

Now many may think that "I will never be able to do this!" and it's only for "the big strong muscle boys". But here the answer is that you can do much more than you and others tell you!

The above are completely ordinary Danes who also felt the same as you might be thinking, until they found out that they could do much more than they thought!. In addition, it is far from certain that just because you LOOK strong, that you actually are, since true strength comes from within, and it has been shown that most people in traditional really good shape have not been able to complete a KataFIT 5S , without proper technical and long-term training and instruction.

Traditional really good strength trainers, after a while in frustration have given up on KataFIT about the 8S and gone back to the gym perhaps more traditional training methodologies. The main reason is that KataFIT uses both aerobic and anaerobic training methods, and the higher the KataFIT number, the more you need oxygen and correctly synchronized breathing between movement and breathing, otherwise the body's energy production just doesn't work optimally and therefore even the world's strongest man or woman at a standstill if this is not in place. It is very logical and simple.

KataFIT can be trained by everyone without exception, shape, injuries, without injuries and goals. The KataFIT train takes you on a journey, and even KataFIT 1S, which everyone in Shindenkan starts with, will with 95% certainty contribute positively to your quality of life and your life. You are just welcome.

KataFIT, which belongs to the 5-year Shindenkan SHIELD KISS project, which replaced the POMW project one ( www.pomwproject.com  www.pomw.dk ), vil will publish a website very soon, so that everyone who has the time and inclination can follow along until the project ends in 2019.

How Shindenkan recognizes and honors special constant efforts – beyond the ordinary

In Shindenkan, we recognize our role models and pay tribute to our heroes and heroines. Quite ordinary members who show the way for other people and who see opportunities instead of obstacles, and always do their best with a highly infectious mood.

With energy and a look for others who need it, and always has time for support, care and encouraging remarks.

This may be foreign to Denmark, but Shindenkan is not limited by gender law, inferiority and jealousy, but celebrates diversity, tolerance, profit, joy on behalf of others, team work and leadership.

We have JokoKIdz and JokoTeens, adult concepts which aim to promote higher self-esteem and higher self-confidence and that you are much better than yourself and others tell you to be.

But we also have concepts that go beyond this - those that really stand out - role models out of the ordinary, - because they are reasonably unusual;

Katsu Kohaku-Jin; Shindenkan would like to actively highlight and reward the role models who not only make an extra effort for Shindenkan in association life year after year, but also those who are ALSO challenged in quite normal areas, which most members and people do not think about in everyday life, since they don't have this close to their lives, - every day all year round. But these are those with mental and physical disabilities according to the official approved list of lifelong disabilities from the Swedish Workers' Compensation Authority. Despite handicaps, these members do not let themselves be stopped, but are well-functioning members of Shindenkan schools. They are few and make up less than 1 % of the membership, which expresses the remarkable positive and constructive attitude they have. A lifelong but is defined as; medical assessment of the daily inconvenience in personal life caused by an injury.

Facts behind the numbers; Each year, approx. 4-5,000 people validated and assessed a lifelong but percentage according to the Danish Labor and Employment Agency's guidance tables. Distributions are roughly the same for men and women. Approx. 50 % are in the age group 27 to 46 years. Approx. 50 %, is assessed a permanent minus percentage 8 %, 5 % and under 5 %. Approx. 35 % , is assessed a permanent loss percentage of between 10 % – 20%. and approx. 15 % is assessed a percentage of less than 25 %.

Shindenkan's assessment base day. A lifetime is defined as; medical assessment of the daily inconvenience in personal life caused by an injury. It is standardized based on the Norwegian Workers' Compensation Authority's official injury tables, tools and experience. From this:

Approx. 50 % have less than 9 % in lifelong disability

Over 5 % life-long documented injuries, either from specialist doctors or at best the Norwegian Workers' Compensation Authority, qualify the member for admission as Katsu Kohaku-jin.

Under 10 % lifelong disability is considered bothersome, but not as stopping sports. Many top level elite athletes can continue with 5 %, but usually not at the same level as 8 %.

Approx. 35 % has under 25 % lifelong mén

Between 10 % and 25 % documented except from the Swedish Workers' Compensation Agency, the member qualifies for admission as Katsu Kohaku-jin.

Over 10 % lifelong injuries are considered very bothersome and inhibiting for a sportsperson. There will be limitations and pain involved.

Approx. 15 % has more than 25 % lifetime mén

Over 25 % documented injuries from the Norwegian Workers' Compensation Agency, qualifies the member for admission as Katsu Kohaku-jin.

Over 25 % lifelong disability is considered very bothersome and highly inhibiting for a sportsperson, and in the choice of sport

Shindenkan's Katsu Kohaku-jin kamons; They are worn on the right shoulder, 5 cm below the shoulder seam. A member can achieve having all three Katsu Kohaku-jin kamons at the same time. Katsu Kohaku-jin Kamons are divided into three levels with different requirements; Bronze, Silver, Gold.

Katsu 50 + years.  The first step is age-based and for graduations in TG4. That is typically after 8-12 years of Yakami Shinsei-ryu training. In comparison, many practitioners will be between 1 and 3 dan single track karate. They are definitely not newbies.

50 years of statistics and a lot of other public statistics tell us that most people, when they approach 50, often choose to buy a fitness card, which quickly collects dust, as the sofa draws more and more 🙂 For TG4 graduations, either 2.kyu YSK or 1.kyu YSK national graduation. Effective ONLY if the graduate in question is a local or national role model, with at least 3 years of constant and contributing association work behind him, either as an instructor or at least as large a recognized Shindenkan contribution in another way. Advantage for stop tests: Stop test 1: KataFIT – 1 minute extra break - voluntary choice. From age 56; 2 x 1 minute – voluntary choice. From age 59; 3 x 1 minute – voluntary choice. From 65 years; 5 x 1 minute – voluntary choice. However, a maximum of 2 minutes per series.

Recognition; Primarily; 2nd kyu YSK graduation. Honorary degree KGK 1st dan OG by Katsu Kohaku-jin from honorary to permanent dan degree; KGK. Secondary; 1.kyu YSK graduation. Honorary degree KGK 2nd dan OG by Katsu Kohaku-jin from honorary to permanent dan degree; KGK.

GOLDEN IRIS. For TG4+ graduations, i.e. 2nd kyu YSK and up. Definition: GOLD IRIS = Stop test 1; Dynamic Strength Training Test min. One KataFIT S level above curriculum requirements PLUS very high fitness index, if curriculum requirements are high or medium. If the curriculum requirement is very high, the requirement is world elite level (higher than very high).

GOLD IRIS is divided into 4 degrees of difficulty, – GOLD IRIS at four increasing levels, which express the real degree of difficulty delivered. GOLD IRIS is physically, psychologically and even disciplinary grounded, - but in Shindenkan we call this an optimal attitude.

Gold IRIS is composed of Stop sample 1; Dynamic strength training through KataFIT PLUS Stop test 2: Dynamic fitness test. It may not sound difficult, but it is. Last year one managed to pass a GOLD IRIS. A 14-year-old girl - with a broken metatarsal bone and, as it later turned out - monocluose. That's 1 out of 1,365 members in 2015. That's under 0.1 %. GOLD IRIS was at level 3 out of 4, – So it's pretty unique. In 2016, the same thing happened again, but only with a woman over 50 who took a GOLD IRIS at level 4 out of 4. It is not easy and many have tried. We look forward to 2017.
