The big ego

So it's wet shot, but what does that mean? You shoot with real bullets and guns, and not "just" air-guns.

So what does it do to us? Yes, you are tested on your dry training, and especially on whether you have been good to yourself and remembered to train at home. It is also good here that you really have to work on yourself.
We start by shooting with .22 calibre, which is enough to start with to see how one can cope. And you can immediately see what is happening by having a real weapon in your hand, plus you can hear that if you hit with this weapon, someone will get hurt. So if you want to do well, it's about having the right attitude, letting go of your ego and believing that the process you've learned over the last period can be trusted. Personally, I have found that it is a huge problem for me, and that I find it very difficult to answer the overview, control and concentration. And if something that it just misses for a short moment, then you are sure that you will not hit where you want at all.
It's then that if you finally fail, it's about keeping calm and getting back into the rhythm you need to be a good shooter.
It is often that I personally lost my concentration a little, and then there is a cash settlement at checkout one! You see the result immediately, and it's definitely not a good sight if you don't do what you're told.
So for your own sake and everyone else there, it's just a matter of listening. But it is also easier said than done, because how do you do it exactly right? We've got the recipe and all the ingredients, so it's just a matter of mixing it. And that's kind of where you see if you've practiced at home, because have you tried making the cake from home or is it your first attempt?
If you are smart, you have practiced and made it from home so you know how it should look, then you also have an advantage when it starts to apply. If, on the other hand, you have not practiced optimally, it is easy to see. And why are you here if you don't want to do anything about it?
One thing that is extremely important is to be ready for the long days! You're on the go all the time, and it's a lot harder than when you're shooting with air guns. So on a long day, which we had two of, in the end it is difficult to keep the concentration, some are better at it than others, plus if you have practiced properly again, you can do a lot of it on the process that you have learned to make. On the other hand, if you have not been good at practicing, you will fail and do worse.

But all in all, pomw is nothing but a battle between you and you. If you start thinking about everything else, you are sure that it will all fall to the ground. So the person behind the weapon is the most important.

But it's not enough to be able to shoot, you also have to be able to operate the weapon you've been holding all day in your hands, so you learn to take apart and clean the guns. This is where you really have the opportunity to think about how good or bad you have been at listening and adjusting throughout the day.

On the last part of POMW 2, on the last day, in the last half. So if you are a little lucky and good, you may be allowed to shoot with 9mm. And here you can actually hear it say BANG!
This is where you really get stressed, if you weren't already. You really feel how much power a gun has and that it is definitely not a toy. And that although you might be able to hit everything with one gun, it will very quickly become difficult to hit something with a little more power. And you can be sure that there is a bit of boy ass going into it.

But regardless of what happens with this weapon, one thing is certain, it's fucking fun, even if it's hard and you have to overcome your own ego.
