- Maybe (not) simple to shoot, but is it simple to shoot?

PLEASE POMW! You are for TG4 and an exclusive and unique black belt Yakami Shinsei-ryu process. TSM POMW! C is an 8-10 hour intensive Ryugi as Ryuha course module, which particularly emphasizes basic and advanced technique through practical exercises and repetitions - over 2 days. Related to Hsing'i – 'will-creation'.

We were divided into teams according to the number of ½ hours trained, ranging from 21 out of 21 to 14 out of 21 times.

We practiced standing shooting at 5 m target targets with loaded airguns at 3, 5, 8 and 10 m.
Clear improvement with Bullseye (0-1 misses) for everyone with ½ hour daily shadow training alone.

Shooting at multiple targets with single and multiple transitions. Base + move eyes and then hips and stable upper body and arms. Legs stable. More difficult to train closely due to larger angles.
Training with laser guns against a 5 m target (black corresponds to shooting at 30 m, target at 15 m).
NB! Focus on the front sight and correct base, and that only the laser beam hits targets above the front sight - that is the recipe for success on the long range. By focusing on the contact of the laser beam with the target, recognition and success are sought in the short term.

Shooting going forwards and backwards as well as to the side forwards and backwards; the former trains shooting under the counter or away from the goal, the latter trains shooting around corners.
Keep the center of gravity low. Take off at all times other than departure and contact time.

Shooting on an IPSC range with multiple transitions, including shooting on ordinary targets as well as IPSC targets. Fun to test serious attitude. Four out of approx. 20 was flawless.

Remember:
– Correct basis, optimal shooting technique and self-evaluation. Correct Setting, setting and setting.

DQ is given in the event of a safety breach or NON-correct base leading to a dangerous situation gives a two-minute thinking and learning break on the bench, for example
– Pointing weapons at others, leaving weapons unguarded on the ground, weapons and ammunition not separated but together with the same person outside the firing line, lack of safety in general
That is lack of correct base, correct optimal shooting technique or lack of correct safety.

My personal learnings from POMW C:
Correct setting. When I focused on solving the task and occasionally managed to let go of ego and desire to achieve in the pursuit of recognition, I shot close to the Bull's eye after only three weeks of training. Flashes of experience of growing black field during deep concentration. Experienced pulling each other up as a team by shooting according to ability. To be good individually and in a team – just a choice 😉

Again, the inner development actions now and here will show the way for the outer development over time. The law of cause and effect apparently also applies here to me in the world of martial arts. The world is unlimited, and thus naturally also our opportunities to achieve our full potential.
Simple (not) to achieve our full potential, but is achieving our full potential simple?
