On Sunday, August 4th, Jokokan was invited to perform a Yakami-ryu demonstration in connection with Copenhagen's major event; „Kulturhavn‟ from August 1st to 4th, 2002. Jokokan's show team performed a varied demonstration with both armed and unarmed techniques and what these could be used for, in a „sharp situation‟. The demonstration took approx. 20 minutes.
Jokokan Frederiksberg had arranged that both before and after the show, Jokokaners handed out brochures, answered questions and had a good chat with some of the hundreds of spectators who flocked to the show – spectators who, incidentally, gave Jokokan's show team very good feedback on the show.

Jokokan's show team will subsequently give performances in the towns of Skælskør, Korsør and Slagelse in August and September, and during DGI's annual Budodag in DGI byen in November.
