Japan's history, social structure and socio-cultural background, compared to Europe, seen and experienced through the eyes of a Daimyo Lord family for more than 2,650+ years
Chapter 1 - Daimyo Viscount Yamana 1185-2019
This period can be divided into three main eras
  1. 1185-1333: Seiwa Genji Minamoto no Yoshitomo became the first shogun – warrior king, with unlimited power. It took approx. 150 years to develop and finally establish the shogunate and the distribution of power between the princes, the shogunate – and the imperial house with the courtiers.
  2. 1333-1477: The Seiwa Genji Ashikaga shogunate and the Muromachi period, where the distribution of power between the shogun, liege prince Daimyoér and the imperial house was structurally established, but like all other countries in the world with many power struggles and thus wars.
  3. 1477-1582: 100 years of almost constant civil war in parts and all of Japan. The fall of the Ashikaga shogunate and the three "unifiers"; Oda Nobunaga (1572-1582), Toyotomi Hideyoshi (1586-1598), Tokugawa Ieyasu (1600-1614) and the Tokugawa shogunate (1600-1868).

The first two eras – approx. 300 years was the period of absolute glory of the Yamana-Itotani sheriff's house and the main reason for the "semi-divine" historical status in Japan's history, and why miles of books have been written, thousands of films, TV and computer games have been made, where the sheriff's house Yamana-Itotani has the lead role or a prominent role.

The last era of almost 100 years was the Yamana-Itotani sheriff's period of decline and challenge with internal power struggles, wars and struggle for survival, which succeeded and brought almost 300 years of peace, happiness, power, Daimyo sheriff status and gratitude with it.
