The first thing I can say is that at no point during the start of this course did I expect that we could develop so quickly. From the first time we had shot during POMW! In TSM B and to POMW! In TSM C, there was a marked difference in everyone's performance. Everyone agreed that it was amazing how much we had progressed in 3 weeks just by practicing the hand technique of shooting air guns.

The course started like any other with a good atmosphere among us all. Now I can't speak for others, but I was extremely excited to see what was going to happen in the three hours that had been set aside. After all, we had been to Hsing'i A not so long ago, and the idea that the setting should be in place was still clearly in my mind. That's not to say that it was easy to stay focused throughout.

We started with a quick recap of safety rules and short range shooting. Next we moved further away from the discs. This time it went for the majority of us, quite a bit better at the 7 meter distance than it did during POMW I TSM B. We could now hit the target and some of the balls had then also sat within the black marking. To be honest, I can't quite remember how far it was at the last distance, but I would think it was between 9-11 meters. If we had thought it was difficult to hit from 7 meters away, we were really put to the test now. Not only were we now 9-11 meters away from the target, but we were also getting used to our heads.
As the last, we were divided into groups of 3. In those teams we then had to try to shoot with a laser gun. While 1 group shot with laser guns, the other groups had to try to stand at all the distances and shoot with regular air guns at 1 target at their own pace.
But then the end of the course came around 9pm and our heads were also well spent. We got some information about the next morning and what to go home and think about.

Even though I had done nothing but a reading for the exam and the 3-4 hours of training that Friday, I could feel in my head that I was well spent. The only thing I thought about on the way home on the subway that night was; It will probably be nice to lie down in bed and sleep for a few hours.

Unfortunately, there wasn't much of that. I didn't sleep very well that night. Most of it consisted of waking up and looking at the clock and then falling back asleep. So a restless night with 2-3 hours of sleep and then up at 6.30 to be picked up by Søren Renshi and off to POMW! In TSM C part 2.

Taking the uncomfortable night's sleep into account, I myself feel that I kept my focus relatively well throughout the day.
We met in Greve about 1 hour before we started and got ready for the course to begin. Tables were set out, plates set up and right from the start the friendly atmosphere was upon us. So it didn't take long before we started going and teasing and teasing each other. Everything as it should and usually is.

Today the inner boy ass in all of us came out. Of course, our setting had to be in place. But it was hard not to let the testosterone flow when you ran towards the target and had to empty your magazine. There was still a focus on proper shooting technique and incorporation of movement.
The 1st part of the day was used to learn how to shoot at several objects. So now we had 2 targets in front of us and had to shoot one target first and switch directly to the other. It is quite a bit more complicated than it sounds. Because at the same moment you change focus, it is only necessary to use 2-3 seconds to focus on the new target before shooting. We worked on this for a while until there was a break.

After the break we were divided into 2 groups. One half started having to be in motion and shoot at the same time. The other had to stand with laser guns and shoot at several targets. So we learned and became familiar with how difficult it is to shoot just about accurately when you're moving. It was in the movement pattern forward towards and away from 1 disk and sideways so that you moved past several disks.
Next, half of us had to shoot with air guns at small metal plates while the other half had to shoot at several targets at different heights with laser guns.
When each half had tried their post a few times, there was one exercise left. A course had been made where we had to move, shoot at different heights and at small objects. This was the last practice we had in POMW! In TSM C part 2. Even though the course was relatively short and "simple" (in the sense that we had been through pretty much the whole thing before) it was still stressful to go through.

My experience of POMW! I TSM C is that it was a hugely cool course that I wouldn't have been without. Mentally, I think it was something of a test, having to be able to stay focused for so many hours in a row. But that's how it is constantly. The more you train, the more you realize that the attitude is essential in order to progress.

The whole POMW! The course has been super interesting and I have a feeling that I can't wait to get started with POMW! II.
