Shindenkan Xmas event 2024 😊
Under the battle cry "What are we fighting for - CHRISTMAS" Shindenkan's fantastic 59th Xmas event was held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 in Ballerup. It was an event with lots of dynamics, power and a really good Christmas atmosphere where everyone - both the 90 registered participants and all the many spectators, got to test their fighting spirit, their stamina and not least their singing talent 😊
Shindenkan Xmas event is always a very special event that reflects Shindenkan's large training community at all times - across member schools, across participants, big and small, and with diversity. We can proudly emphasize that Shindenkan reflects our society - because there is room for everyone in Shindenkan - the Elite as the exerciser 😊
The concept, preparation and the entire run-up to the Xmas event 2024 were super well planned by Yamana-Itotani Sensei, precisely with a focus on Shindenkan's curriculum manual - with dynamics, power and Christmas spirit - and it proceeded, as always, in good order. All participants supported and helped each other through the training with lots of sweat, high pulse and battle cries and it is clear that Shindenkan has had a fantastic start to the 2024-2025 season with many new members and a fantastic atmosphere at all the national activities and out in the clubs.
Xmas event 😊
Shindenkan exists for our members and we are grateful for your great desire to train Yakami Shinsei-ryu Taijutsu and Karate-do, and therefore throughout 2024 we have worked to make things better for our members through fantastic training - by living our values and doing something good for the people around us.
Our energy and skills were once again emphasized at Shindenkan's traditional Xmas event, through training in our amazing 1000 year old martial arts system – Yakami Shinsei-ryu Taijutsu & Karate-do in learning circles that were designed to meet the participants where they are and take them on a journey – adapted to the level of the individual participants. We started with cushion training at all levels and finished with Kumite and Taskfighting 1-3. All participants gave everything they had and it gave just a super positive energy that spread throughout the stands.
We are really good – The level in Shindenkan has never been higher than it is right now, and that applies all the way around – both in terms of skills, commitment and positive mood and the desire to be there for each other, and we are just incredibly proud of that.
The POMW I-II-II course in 2024 was concluded at the Xmas event😊
It has been 4 years since the last POMW course was held and a new and super exciting POMW I-II-III course was therefore planned for the first, second and third quarter of 2024 according to a new and optimized concept prepared by Yamana-Itotani Sensei.
At the Xmas event 2024, the participants were presented with their badges as confirmation of their completion and passing of the POMW course 2024.

The Support Association Trust Group😊
The Tryghedsgruppen support association has become a great community success in the voluntary and unpaid community service work, which was also praised and highlighted in the King's New Year's speech 🙂. For Shindenkan, it has helped to finally solve the Gordian knot after decades of failed attempts to create the additional marketing and finances that will contribute to the fulfillment of Shindenkan's Strategic Plan 2026+.
A huge effort has been made across schools, members, parents, wives, husbands and sons, who together did a huge job.
All participants have reported that they would like to run in the new year, and I am very much looking forward to us making it happen together.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the participants in the support association's voluntary work, because without our joint efforts it would not have been possible - So a big THANK YOU to you 😊

We really want more new members with all the good bright energy that comes with it and we need your help again. So if you know someone who would like to try our fantastic training, start now – Spread the word that Everyone who wants is welcome – We are accepting new members from January 6, 2025.
Reach out to people both near and far! Tell us about the great training community we have and the fantastic dynamics in training. It takes so little - but it means so much to all of us to be included.
The word of mouth recommendation from our existing members is the strongest and most genuine attraction we have, because the last seasons have convincingly shown that positive friendly recommendations from all our existing happy and whole members around our community and multi-track martial arts - both re-attract the many old members who have returned and particularly strengthens the attraction of new members.
It's a fantastic time in Denmark right now and spring is quietly on its way – and we know that in Shindenkan the sun is shining on us all from a cloudless blue sky – the days are starting to get longer and I can feel that in my heart there is an increasing light and youthful joy.

What happens in the rest of the 2024 - 2025 season for TG1 and TG2
There are many great competency courses planned for our members in TG1 (White and Purple belt) and TG2 (Red, Orange, Yellow and Green belt), and last but not least, there are of course our next 2 joint events where graduations will again be held for everyone who has registered 😊
