My impression of Instructor course 1 and 2

By Kiryu Jessen, Member until 2010

I can divide my impressions of Instructor course 1 and 2 into 3 points.

The introduction was good because there was a lot of good information that can help one teach.

For example, information about our organization so that you can answer various questions that may arise.

The role play was both fun and educational, as the roles were realistic in the way that you can actually meet some people who are like that. For example, the teenage girl, the violent one, etc.

It was also very good that they were implemented at different times, so that there were more and more situations where you had to do something about the disturbing person.

The test can show whether you have finally understood something of the course, so it was a really good thing to have with you.

There were many questions that you could answer based on your notes from the introduction. That way, you got a better grasp of some of the things you had been told.

I think I got a lot out of it and can definitely recommend it to others. It is a good idea, even if you are not thinking of becoming an instructor. It gives a good picture of how big a job it is to be an instructor and what it requires of them.

You gain a different respect for them when you know a little more about being a director.
